A new build of Cha-Ching 2.0 is now available to resolve the issues some users were experiencing on initial launch of the new Cha-Ching Beta.

Whew. Finally.

We are extremely pleased to finally be able to announce the immediate availability of Cha-Ching Touch.

Additionally we are also simultaneously announcing the availability of the Cha-Ching 2 Public Beta.

This is a pretty major update which includes over 30 bug fixes and interface improvements.

New in Build 2B87:

• Fixed issue where sparkle Auto Update wasn’t finding udpates
• Added category support to Cha-Ching
• Scheduler is now working properly
• List view no longer displays “time” as part of the transaction date
• Vaults have been renamed “Collections”
• Cha-Ching 2 now supports Payees and Auto-Fill of Payee/Category from the Payee list
• New Detail Pane for editing and viewing transactions
• New Toolbar Graphics and Icons
• New Linked Transfers
• Master Vault has been renamed to “All Transactions”
• Long item names in the source list now truncate with an ellipses
• Missing mapping model migration issue is now fixed
• Filter button added to the toolbar

There are still some things that haven’t made the cut quite yet but we are working on for the next beta release.

Here is a list of what is planned for the next few weeks

• Support for budgets that have been created on the iPhone
• Better category support
• Improved payee interface
• ability to give a payee a location on the desktop the same way you can on the iPhone
• Improved OFX importing
• Improved QIF importing
• Improved smart collections

We will definitely be posting more info soon as we continue to develop Cha-Ching 2 and Cha-Ching Touch :)

This is just a quick post to let you all know that Cha-Ching Touch is finally ready for sale. We will be pushing out a new beta in the next few hours and posting more information about Cha-Ching Touch soon.

The application isn’t quite live yet in the iTunes Store but it should be very very soon.

The latest beta of Cha-Ching 2 for Mac (which we are readying now) will be required for syncing with the iPhone application.
