Through the Valley of Darkness

14 May 07

MacHeist users, good news and bad. Our apologies for the work you’ll have to do to make the pig strong again but straight from MacHeist:

The good thing is that everyone’s privacy will remain intact which is extremely important to us.

So to have them enter your information into their database you’ll need to go to your loot page then take a screenshot of the Cha-Ching loot which included your email address and Cha-Ching serial number.

Also, copy and paste your email address and serial number in text form in the email so that they can easily enter it into the database.

Now, we’ll do our part and kick out the serials as quickly as we can, thank you for understanding. I’ll post this in the forums as well.

So, what email address should we send this to?

You have to be kidding me. At least give us the address to e-mail you.

I’m not sure if the blog post was edited after these two comments were made or not, but the email address is in fact included.

Sorry, I guess I should have added the e-mail address. I’ve edited the post above.

For future reference, the support e-mail address can be found and located on our main site, the community site, previous blog posts, and within the ‘contact us’ section of the app.

Does this affect only users of 1.0.2? If I wait around for version 1.0.3, will this be fixed with no extra effort on my part?

Thank you Cha-Ching people, and sorry for moaning earlier!

I sent an email 5 days ago and no one responded… poor support…

That’s consistent with my experience, too, pat.

I wish I could view my loot page, but my 0.3 version I downloaded from MacHeist does not have this option. I don’t really think my application is functioning all that correctly to begin with. Anyone have any suggestions?
