Why can't I get Cha-Ching Touch to Sync with Cha-Ching on the mac?
- Syncing requires Cha-Ching 2.0 and a connection to WiFi
- Both Cha-Ching Touch and your mac must be connected to the same wireless network
- You must make sure that "Enable Device Browsing" is checked in the desktop app preferences
- Once you have done this you can select your iPhone in the source list and press "sync"

I have done all of that but my iPhone/iPod touch still won't show up in the sidebar/source list of Cha-Ching 2.0
- Currently there is a bug that causes an iPhone/iPod touch to not connect properly with Cha-Ching
- To fix this, tap "Cancel" on the iPhone and then tap "Sync" again

Entering/Editing Transactions
- Can I create repeating transactions on the iPhone?
- Yes, repeating transactions can be created and marked as paid from the scheduler

How do I mark scheduled items as paid?
- Simply tap on the amount badge to the right of the transaction and then tap "Mark as Paid"

How do I reconcile a transaction on Cha-Ching Touch?
- Simply tap on the status badge located to the left of a transaction in the transaction list

Can I create transfers?
- The ability to create transfers from one account to another is not present in Cha-Ching Touch yet
- We understand this is needed and we are adding this feature based on user feedback
- How do I delete a transaction?
- You can "swipe" to delete a transaction in any account list view
General
- Can I lock Cha-Ching with a passcode?
- Yes, the passocde lock can be enabled from the Cha-Ching settings screen
Budgeting
- How do I keep my income from showing up in the budget?
- Income should be categorized as "Income" to keep it hidden from your budget.
- Any transaction categorized as income will not show up in the budget
- Okay so how do I set up a budget then?
- First, Tap on "Edit" and start by specifying the amount of money available to you on a monthly basis. This is your monthly income.
- Next, for each category you wish to use, tap "set" to specify the amount of your available funds that you would like to allocate to the given category
- Lastly, monitor your spending by checking out the amount remaining for each category before you make a purchase
- If you need to you can reallocate funds from one category to another again by tapping on the "set" button next to each budget item when in edit mode

How do I keep my initial deposits from showing in the budget?
- Initial deposits should be created with a date prior to the current month to keep them out of the budget
- We are fixing this with an update that will be submitted to Apple shortly
- Can I create custom categories?
- Yes, custom categories can be created from the Cha-Ching Touch settings screen
- Can I hide categories I don't want to see in the budget?
- Yes, choose "Hide unused categories" from the Cha-Ching Touch "User Categories" settings screen

Scrolling is choppy on the budgets screen
- We are aware of this and we are working to make scrolling smoother throughout Cha-Ching
Creating an Account
- What types of accounts can I create on Cha-Ching Touch?
- Cha-Ching supports the following account types:
- Loans
- Credit Cards
- Savings
- Checking
- Cash
- How do I create an account with an initial balance?
- We are adding support for initial balance in the first update to Cha-Ching Touch
- In the meantime you can create a payee called "initial balance" and use it to create a first transaction representing the current balance of your account
Payees
- What are payees used for?
- Payees are used to quickly enter transactions on the iphone.
- Payees can store a default category and a location for quick entry later
- Is there a faster way to create a payee?
- We understand that the process of creating a payee when creating a transaction is not ideal
- Payees created on the desktop will sync to the iPhone
- Payees only have to be created one time and then they are available for use for subsequent transactions
- Most importantly, we have completely overhauled the system for adding new transactions to make it much faster. This will be available as part of the first update we are submitting to Apple once testing is completed
Editing Transactions
- I am trying to enter transactions from the past few weeks but all of my new transactions have today's date. Can I change this?
- Yes, you can definitely change the transaction date.
- Simply tap on the transaction in the transaction list then tap "Edit" in the top toolbar
- Now you can edit all aspects of this transaction including the payee, date, amount, category and notes

Okay great, but I accidentally entered some transactions in the wrong account. Can I move these?
- Yes, you can easily move transactions to a new account by tapping the folder with an arrow in the bottom transaction toolbar
